System Requirements for Device Monitoring

The network and computer used to monitor and control a SEL-MCP3 frame must meet or exceed the following hardware and software requirements:

• A Selenio frame installed and connected to the LAN
• A PC connected to a LAN with:

• Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows 7, Windows Vista, or Windows XP Service Pack 2 operating system
• Intel® Pentium® III 450MHz or faster processor (or equivalent)
• A minimum of 128MB of RAM
• JavaScript enabled web browser; for best results use Microsoft Internet Explorer 8.0
• Quicktime version 7.7.9 with QuickTime Web Plug-in

  The Web plug-in is not a part of the default installation. To install it, on the QuickTime player installer select Custom, and then under Optional QuickTime Features, select QuickTime WebPlugin.

  

• Silverlight version 5.0 (optional)

  You can install the plug-in from the controller. See Installing the Silverlight Plug-in 

  • A standard crossover or straight-through Ethernet cable to connect to a PC (the frame auto-detects the cable type)
