Using the Frame Control Panel

Administrators can use the SEL-MCP3 Frame Control Panel to configure and control the frame and its modules on the network, control communication within the frame, configure redundancy, and perform other administrative tasks such as managing licenses and firmware.

Click the tab to open the Configuration view and access parameter settings for all the modules in the frame.

Click a module in the System Explorer to view the options for that module.

In the System Explorer, a dot beside a module’s name indicates that the module has a fault.

In the upper left of this screen, the Tree View lists all modules in the frame, with information about each module’s status. Click on any module in the frame and the right portion of the screen updates to display parameters and alarms for that module. Information on individual module parameters and alarms is provided in the documentation for that module. For general information on parameter and alarm controls, see Using Parameters .

In the lower left of this screen, you can create, modify and apply presets. For complete information about presets, see Using Presets .
